Job summary

Award Homecare is seeking a dedicated Female Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate, in-home care for a female client. This hourly position requires working in-person, Monday to Friday 9AM–3PM, with ASAP start and the candidate should have a valid NJ CHHA certification and own reliable transportation.

The role emphasizes independence, dignity, and quality of life, with duties including assistance with ADLs, companionship, medication reminders, mobility support, and light

Qualifications

• NJ CHHA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report changes in condition and well-being.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration per plans.
• Support clients with dementia and cognitive challenges.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Light housekeeping and ensure a safe home environment.
• Document care accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
