Visiting Angels of Harford & Cecil Counties is hiring caregivers to provide private duty home care. Responsibilities include personal care, medication assistance, documentation, and ensuring a safe and respectful patient environment.

Candidates should be reliable, empathetic, and capable of effective communication with clients and team members. We offer weekly pay, paid time off, training, and a signing bonus for active MBON CNA/GNA certifications.

Formación

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrate sympathetic attitude toward caring for others.
• Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
• Ability to remain flexible and calm, with a professional image.
• U.S. Citizen or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and adhere to client Care Plan.
• Assist with personal care activities: bathing, grooming, feeding, oral hygiene and bedtime care.
• Assist with bathroom needs and keep clients clean and dry.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Prepare documentation of care furnished and report incidents immediately.
• Assist with exercises, ambulation and transfers; ensure safe body mechanics.
• Maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment and observe safety precautions.
• Engage in respectful social interaction and protect client privacy.
• Communicate effectively with team and attend required trainings.
• Maintain hand washing techniques and be dependable in following instructions.
