Job summary

Visiting Angels of Harford & Cecil Counties is seeking caring Home Health Aides to support clients in their homes across Harford and Cecil counties. You will follow care plans, assist with daily activities, and help with medication self-administration while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate a caring attitude toward others.
• Experience in private duty/home care is preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client's Care Plan and precautions.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist with bathroom needs, incontinent care, and hygiene.
• Assist with medication self-administration as directed.
• Document care provided and report incidents to supervisor.
• Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Observe safety hazards and report them the same day.
• Provide compassionate social interaction and maintain client privacy.
