Visiting Angels of Harford & Cecil Counties is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home assistance, including personal care, mobility support, and medication assistance, while maintaining client dignity and safety.

We offer paid training, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits program. Must be 18+, with strong communication skills and a caring, professional attitude. U.S. citizenship or valid work permit required.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Previous experience in private duty home care preferred.
• Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
• U.S. Citizen or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.
• Possess and maintain good physical and mental health, including current TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, skin care, back rub, hair care, nail care, dressing and undressing, feeding, oral hygiene, shaving, grooming and bedtime care.
• Assist client to the bathroom or in use of urinal or bedpan; keep incontinent clients clean and dry.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications and with personal communication needs as required.
• Prepare documentation of client care or services furnished.
• Ensure a clean, safe, healthy environment and observe safety precautions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor; attend required training.
