Job summary

Nationwide Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides / Caregivers / STNAs to provide non-skilled in-home care in the Ashtabula area. The role focuses on helping clients with daily activities, companionship, and safety within their homes.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience or a current STNA certification, with reliable transportation and a patient, professional approach to following care plans and agency policies.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of caregiving experience OR current STNA certification required.
Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow care plans and agency policies.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with mobility, walking, and safe transfers.
Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
Assist with errands and grocery shopping as needed.
Observe and report changes in clients' conditions.
Complete accurate documentation of care provided.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
Follow individualized care plans while respecting clients' privacy and independence.
