Job summary

Nationwide Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides/Caregivers/STNAs to support clients in Chardon and Geauga County. You will provide non-skilled in-home care, help with daily activities, and promote independence and dignity for clients in their own homes.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience or a current STNA certification. Strong communication, reliability, and a compassionate attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience OR STNA certification required.
• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes throughout Chardon and Geauga County.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and safe transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Assist with errands and grocery shopping as needed.
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions.
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Follow individualized care plans while respecting clients' privacy and independence.
