Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate and reliable Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will provide non-medical personal care, companionship, and help maintain dignity, independence, and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver / PCA / HHA or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual and dependable.
• Must pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.
• Bathing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, dressing and personal hygiene, ADL support.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers; mobility support throughout the home.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Transportation to medical appointments and assistance with errands when applicable.
