Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Las Cruces seeks a caring caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, while building meaningful relationships that improve quality of life.

You will help maintain a clean, safe home, communicate with families and team members, provide transportation to appointments, participate in ongoing training, and support clients in maintaining independence. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in geriatrics or similar caregiving roles preferred.
• Dependable cell phone and transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background checks and references.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Develop meaningful relationships with clients to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client needs.
• Provides transportation to doctor’s appointments, beauty shops, etc
• Participate in ongoing training to improve caregiving skills.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety.
• Document client progress and report any changes to management.
• Be able to work weekends.
