Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults at home in the Los Lunas, Southern Central Albuquerque and East Mountains areas. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, building meaningful client relationships, maintaining safety, and documenting progress.

The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals willing to travel to client homes and work weekends. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in geriatrics or caregiving preferred
• Dependable cell phone service
• Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
• Up-to-date car insurance, registration, and valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to pass background checks and work references
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Passion for the job and helping others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Compassionate nature and weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal prep)
• Develop relationships with clients to enhance quality of life
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Communicate with clients, families, and team about needs
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands
• Participate in ongoing caregiving training
• Support independence while ensuring safety
• Document client progress and report changes to management
• Be able to work weekends
