Team Select Home Care is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide non-medical personal care in the home for sick and disabled individuals. You will report to the Director of Operations or designee and assist with daily living tasks, meals, hygiene, and safe transportation as assigned.

Beneficiary-focused role offering weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and on-the-job training. This position emphasizes compassionate patient care with HIPAA-compliant documentation and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with non-medical personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assists with transfers and lift devices per state regulations.
• Prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Assists with basic health maintenance and routine wellness activities.
• Provides companion services and keeps consumer safe at home.
• Documents shifts and obtains consumer signature per deadline.
• Reports changes in consumer condition to the DOO/designee.
• Maintains confidentiality under HIPAA and follows policies.
