Job summary

Team Select Home Care in Indianapolis seeks a Direct Care Worker to provide non-medical personal care and assist with activities of daily living in the home. You will report to the Director of Operations or designee.

The role includes assisting with daily living tasks, meals, medications reminders, and mobility support while maintaining safety and privacy. Training, weekly pay, and benefits are offered in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with non-medical personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as assigned.
• Support transfers and transfer devices per state regulations.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; encourage healthy eating.
• Provide basic non-medical health maintenance activities and routine wellness support.
• Escort or transport to medical appointments when authorized by office staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with light housekeeping.
