Job summary

Team Select Home Care is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide one-on-one in-home non-medical care. You will assist with daily living tasks, meals, mobility, and light housekeeping while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate interaction, reliable communication, and adherence to policy. Training is provided and weekly pay is offered to support ongoing development in home health care.

Qualifications

• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers and use transfer devices per state regulations.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding; encourage eating as assigned.
• Assist with non-medical health maintenance activities and routine wellness.
• Escort/transport consumers to medical appointments as authorized.
• Provide companion services to functionally impaired individuals.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment; perform light housekeeping and errands.
