Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults at home in the Los Lunas area and nearby communities. You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, and companionship while building meaningful relationships that improve overall well-being.

The role requires dependable, compassionate individuals who can work weekends and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality in-home care. Training is provided to ensure safety and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient caregiver with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with seniors and families, building trust and rapport.
• Willingness to travel to client homes and provide in-home support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals).

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Develop meaningful relationships with clients to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client needs.
• Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, etc
• Participate in ongoing training to improve caregiving skills.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety.
• Document client progress and report any changes to management."
• Be able to work weekends.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• 21 Years of Age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience is geriatrics or similar caregiving roles preferred.
• Dependable cell phone and service
• Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel to client homes
• Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to pass background checks and work-related references
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs, including weekends.

Must satisfactorily complete Comfort Keepers training and orientation program. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and document services provided.
