Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care - Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship and personal care to clients in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and support family members as part of a trusted home care team.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, feeding, meal planning, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and safe transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Provide dignity and respect to clients as you assist with their care plans.
• Interpret and follow the client's care plan and instructions.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Be flexible and adapt to changing needs and schedules.
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Experience with dementia care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding.
• Performing light housekeeping such as laundry and linen changing.
• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Providing transportation to and from appointments.
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques.
