Job summary

Home-Helpers-3a5386a is seeking caring caregivers to provide non-medical in-home services, including companionship, homemaking, and personal care for seniors, disabled clients, and new mothers. You will follow a client’s care plan, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe, supportive home.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and collaborating with families and the Home Helpers team to tailor solutions to each client's needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for caring for those in need.
• Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have compassion for seniors and/or those with disabilities.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Have a smartphone and email account.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to take a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Providing caring and dependable companionship.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Preparing meals and snacks.
• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene (like dressing, eating, bathing and toileting).
• Transportation to and from client's appointments and activities.
• Carrying out a Care Plan and tasks specific to your client.
• Collaborating with the Home Helpers team and client's family to address needs.
