Job summary

accessAbilities,Inc. is hiring Direct Care Workers to support individuals in Creekside, PA with in-home care services. This part-time role offers flexible hours, with shifts as little as 4 per week up to 28 per week, and no prior experience is required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities include assisting with household duties, personal care, transfers, and using assistive devices, while promoting independence and community participation for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.

Responsibilities

• In Home Caregiver duties include assisting with household chores, personal care, laundry, shopping, meals, and errands.
• Assist with transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming, and use of personal support equipment such as wheelchairs and lifts.
• Provide companionship and support for activity participation in the community and medical appointments.
