Job summary

access Abilities, a local Human Services agency, is immediately hiring Direct Care Workers for in-home caregiver services in Heilwood, PA. Part-time hours, no experience required, paid training, and 4–28 hours per week are available.

Responsibilities include assisting with household tasks, personal care, transfers, and community outings. Requirements: 18+, valid driver’s license and FBI checks; ACT 33/34 clearances may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs without assistance and up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household duties, personal care, and meal preparation.
• Support participants with transfers, grooming, and daily activities.
• Help with shopping, chores, and attending medical appointments as needed.
• Provide companionship and aid with community participation.

Skills
