Job summary

NuLook Home Care Agency in Dunn, NC is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide in-home support, helping clients remain safely at home with dignity and independence. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and follow each client's care plan.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid NC driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid preferred; prior caregiving experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; preferred but not required.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation and automobile insurance.
• Ability to pass criminal background screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Compassionate and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide personal care, companionship, and support per each client's care plan.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Accompany clients to appointments and approved community outings.
• Complete EVV clock-in and clock-out requirements and accurate documentation.
• Follow the client's care plan and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with light meals and feeding when appropriate; perform light housekeeping.
• Support medication reminders as directed (no medication administration).
