Personal Home Care of North Carolina is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients in their homes or in partner facilities. The role involves hands-on daily living assistance under supervision of a nurse or therapist, with emphasis on safety and dignity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification or CNA/PCA experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift and move clients.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a CNA or prior CNA/PCA experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a national background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift and move clients as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, including using a wheelchair or walker.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning.
• Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate with office staff, RNs and family members as needed.

Formazione
