Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides in California to provide nonmedical in-home support to seniors, helping them stay independent and safe at home.

No experience is required; we provide paid training, flexible hours (10–40 hours per week), and a schedule that fits your life. Applicants must be 18+, registered with the CA Home Care Aide Registry, and able to pass background checks and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible for CA Home Care Aide Registry.
• Must meet background checks and TB testing requirements.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Empathy, tact and good personal hygiene required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene tasks.
• Support with mobility, transfers and ambulation.
• Assist with meals, medications reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked and services performed.
• Drive to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Complete required training and maintain Home Care Aide registration.
