Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide nonmedical in-home services to seniors, enabling them to age at home. Roles emphasize empathy, activation of care plans, and strong communication with clients and staff across shifts from mornings to overnights.

Applicants must be 18+, pass background checks, and meet CA training/registration requirements. Flexible scheduling includes part-time, full-time, weekends, and shifts to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
