Job summary

Nurse Next Door is hiring Home Care Aides in California to support seniors at home. No medical experience is required; training is provided. Flexible hours range from part-time to full-time with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts across Rocklin and surrounding areas.

As a home care aide, you will follow care plans, assist with ADLs, manage hygiene, transfers, meals, and light housekeeping while documenting services and maintaining client comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Criminal background check and commitment to training requirements.
• Evidence of tuberculosis testing.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and positioning.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and meal planning/preparation.
• Provide companionship and perform light household tasks.
• Record all hours worked and report changes in client condition.
• Drive to appointments or run errands as needed.
