Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or related caregiving roles is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Physically able to assist clients with transfers and mobility.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Monitor and document clients' health status, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications as directed and comply with established care plans.
• Drive clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Maintain client transportation logs and ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals about care needs and progress.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
