Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Caregivers with driving capabilities to join our team. This role provides in-home care and transportation assistance to ensure clients attend medical appointments, social outings, and other engagements safely and comfortably.

You will collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to implement tailored care plans with professionalism and empathy, promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle.
• Previous home care or related caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications as directed and comply with established care plans.
• Drive clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Maintain client transportation logs and ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals about care needs and progress.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
