Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/ Direct Care Worker to support clients in their homes or healthcare facilities. You will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, and social engagement to help clients live independently with dignity.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in home care, strong communication, and a teamwork mindset. A valid driver’s license is encouraged; CNA certification is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in home care or related field.
• Flexible schedules to meet client demand.
• State CNA certification welcome but not required.
• CGs with Valid Driver's License encouraged.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Compassionate and client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide nutrition and hydration via meal preparation and monitoring intake.
• Support socialization and engagement in home or community activities.
• Provide emotional support and respite care to clients and families.
