Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work in-home in the Wilson area. The role involves providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, transfers, hygiene, meals, and documenting care according to the plan of care.

You will work with the patient in their residence, maintain patient confidentiality, report changes, and use EVV to complete time sheets as required. The position requires reliability and the ability to adapt to client needs.

Qualifications

• Must maintain DFS certification and stay current.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide personal hygiene care and meals per patient needs.
• Document changes and maintain EVV/time-sheet accuracy as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and report changes to care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping and assist with daily activities.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality care.
