Job summary

Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is seeking In Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support clients across Lebanon and nearby communities. Earn $18.00-$22.00 per hour with flexible daytime hours and opportunities for growth.

As a PCA, you will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and companionship while following individualized care plans. Strong communication and reliable transportation are required; First Aid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check)

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing companionship and support
• Responding in emergencies
• Accompanying clients during shopping trips
