Visiting Angels of Claremont is seeking a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to assist seniors in the Upper Connecticut River Valley. Earn $18.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience, with daytime hours available and flexible scheduling to fit your life.

This role involves helping clients with personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, and medication prompts, enabling clients to stay at home with dignity. PTO and mileage reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping to keep homes safe and comfortable.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and meal planning or shopping for them.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients, considering abilities.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or outings.
