Job summary

Douglas County Visiting Nurses is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and other services per the Plan of Care in patients' homes, ensuring safety and comfort. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily living activities, while supporting families in caregiving and independence.

Responsibilities include documenting per the plan of care, observing patient needs, and coordinating with the Case Manager for referred patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nurses Aide in good standing required for Help at Home program.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming per the plan of care.
• Assist families to lift, turn and reposition the patient.
• Support daily living activities and promote independence.
• Observe incidental patient needs and maintain charting per agency and regulatory requirements.
