Job summary

Comfort Keepers provides in-home personal care to clients under an established Personal Care Program. You will assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and ambulation, in their home settings, following the client’s care plan.

Training and orientation are required, with emphasis on reliability, confidentiality, and professional communication with clients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ninth grade education; high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Credit History, professional/personal reference checks, and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as assigned on the personal care Service Plan.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation).
• Maintains a clean, safe, healthy home environment and may perform light housekeeping.
• Assists with meal planning and basic meal preparation; grocery shopping and cleanup.
