Job summary

Live Well Home Care is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home personal care and support for clients who require assistance with daily living activities. You will help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, mobility, transportation, and companionship in clients' homes and communities.

The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care, following care plans, collaborating with the Branch Manager, and ensuring client safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as listed in the duties: ambulation, bathing, dressing, meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, companionship, and respite.
• Provide companionship, social interaction, emotional reassurance, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind.
• Follow the written care plan and care policies; monitor supplies and resources; and perform tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Escort clients to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and outings as specified in the care plan.
• Assist with following specialized diets and the care plan’s dietary requirements.
• Maintain client safety and security by supervising the home environment and reporting unsafe conditions.
