Job summary

S&S Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our in-home care team, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities while following care plans and maintaining accurate records. The role emphasizes empathy, reliable transportation, and strong communication with clients and family members.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
