Job summary

S&S Home Health Care Inc is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care, supporting daily living activities and independence for clients in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while following care plans and maintaining accurate records. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and reliable transportation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
