Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our in-home care team, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and monitoring client health, with a focus on companionship and accurate care documentation. We value reliability and empathetic, patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training (as required by state regulations).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
