Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Inc is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our in-home care team. You will support clients with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and provide companionship to help maintain independence in the comfort of their homes.

The role emphasizes reliable, empathetic caregiving with adherence to care plans and documentation. Training and ongoing support are provided to enhance skills and career growth.

Qualifications

Certified HHA or equivalent training required by state regulations.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
