Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our in-home care team, delivering high-quality support to clients in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, and meal preparation; monitor health changes; provide companionship; and follow care plans while keeping accurate records and communicating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training (as required by state regulations).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
