Job summary

Riverside Healthcare seeks an Imaging Assistant to support Imaging Technologists with patient care, transportation, and clerical tasks within the imaging department. You will greet patients, transport to various areas, and position them for scans while maintaining safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within two weeks of start date.
• Good computer and keyboarding skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients and explain scans using patient communication best practices.
• Safely transport patients to imaging areas and use transfer equipment when needed.
• Position patients on scan tables with proper body mechanics and comfort.
• Enter patient histories and check lab results in EPIC; support technologists.
• Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
