Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Rome, GA is seeking a dedicated LPN to provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. You will support the RN, manage medications, and help maintain health routines.

This role requires LPN licensure, CPR, strong teamwork with the interdisciplinary team, and the ability to work part-time on site with physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current LPN license with no restrictions to practice.
• CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members and families.
• Must be able to perform required physical tasks including lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration.
• Assist with scheduling preventative and routine medical appointments.
• Observe for abnormal health findings and report to the physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Advocate for people supported and develop community supports to promote health.
