Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the night shift in Rome, GA. The role is onsite in a group home setting, full-time, 7pm–7am with rotating weekends off.

Compensation is $32/hr, with comprehensive benefits and pre-employment screening. Responsibilities include holistic nursing care, data collection, care coordination, documentation, and on-site medical clinic support, along with staff training and supervised medication administration in accordance with state

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current LPN license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to certify for CPR.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assist with gathering health related data, and report the health needs to the RN.
• Coordinate preventative and routine medical care for people supported.
• Document nursing care provided.
• Assist physicians with on-site medical clinics where applicable.
• Provide health related trainings to unlicensed personnel according to state regulations.
• Conduct medication pass observations and ensure staff competency.
• Conduct medication closest assessments.
• Perform quality assurance checks and observations.
