Responsibilities include cleaning apartments, laundering linens, stocking supplies, assisting with dining service, and performing other duties as assigned. Wage is $16.80–$20.16 per hour, with eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning main entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators (as needed), clean heat system filters, change beds and linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies; turn mattresses with assistance and empty waste baskets.
• Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed, focusing on entry area, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
• Launder all linens by washing and drying in on-site facilities.
• Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests, take and serve orders, and assist with dining service as needed.
• Return cart to kitchen, help store perishable items, and deliver trays to resident rooms if needed.
• Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset for next meals following proper sanitizing procedures.
• Complete side work (sugar, creamers, coffeemaker, etc.).
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
