Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary interiors across the community and resident apartments. You will vacuum, dust, and clean entryways, common areas, dining rooms, and hallways while supporting residents with a courteous, friendly service.

Responsibilities include cleaning and defrosting refrigerators, changing bed linens, laundering linens, and following company sanitation guidelines. Some meal-service support may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the Community and resident apartments, including vacuuming and cleaning common areas.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change linens, and manage linen supplies.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments and maintain entry areas, carpets, and fixtures.
• Launder linens using on-site facilities and follow sanitation procedures.
• Greet residents and guests and serve beverages as part of meal service.
• Assist with food service duties, clear tables, and reset for the next meal.
