Job summary

Hallmark Cards is seeking a part-time housekeeper to join our senior living community. The role involves cleaning all common areas and resident rooms, following established procedures and infection control practices.

You will work as part of a compassionate team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents. The position requires English communication, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Some experience in hospitality or senior living is helpful but not required.
• Must pass employment screenings including background check and drug tests.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds; able to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common spaces and resident rooms following procedures.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in bathrooms and shared areas.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents with cleaning needs while communicating changes to management.
• Work as part of a team to provide compassionate senior care.
