Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Housekeeper to provide campus cleaning and minor maintenance services to meet residents’ and employees’ needs. The role supports keeping facilities in good condition and adheres to infection control guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have some high school education, housekeeping/maintenance experience, and the ability to communicate in English with residents and staff. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
• Dependability and common sense, and the ability to organize daily cleaning schedule to finish each day’s assignment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Interest in and desire to work with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in assigned areas following schedule and standards.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs and batteries as needed.
• Move furniture and assist in resident moves when required.
• Participate in campus linen program and bed-making in guest rooms or residences as needed.
• Observe and report repairs needed to facilities or fixtures.
