Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide campus cleaning and light maintenance across our community. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, minor repairs, floor care, linen tasks, bed making, and assisting in resident moves and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Some high school education.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
• Dependability and common sense, and the ability to organize daily cleaning schedule to finish each day’s assignment.
• May require availability on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedule and infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, plunging toilets and changing batteries as needed.
• Follow the established schedule, perform cleaning tasks inside and outside per standards.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, Stripping, scrubbing, waxing and buffing.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills and in resident moves, linen program, and bed making as needed.
• Observe and report repairs to facilities, furniture or fixtures; assist with supplies and snow/ice removal.
