Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care - Hunter Hollow in West Valley City is seeking a dependable Environmental Services Housekeeper. The role focuses on maintaining a clean environment for residents and staff, adhering to infection control policies, and supporting daily operations in a skilled nursing setting.

You will perform routine cleaning, operate cleaning equipment, and assist with linen distribution while upholding high standards of hygiene and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current/Active Food Handler permit (ALF Only).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and perform basic math computations as needed.
• Previous long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Director according to department policies and procedures.
• Maintains daily and deep cleaning schedules.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and cleans fixtures in rooms and bathrooms.
• Operates environmental services equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor cleaners, buffers, shampooers).
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
• Keeps work areas neat and orderly and delivers linen/supplies as needed.
