Job summary

Mountain View Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to maintain clean rooms, linens, and common areas in a skilled nursing setting. You will follow infection prevention practices and facility policies to protect resident health and comfort.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, sanitizing surfaces, handling laundry, and supporting a dignified living environment. No prior experience required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or laundry experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, offices, therapy areas, dining rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect surfaces according to facility schedules and procedures.
• Laundry: collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and facility laundry.
• Follow procedures for handling contaminated or infectious laundry and use PPE as required.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
• Follow facility policies and safety procedures, including infection prevention standards.
