Job summary

Monastery Heights is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility, including resident apartments and common areas. You will follow infection prevention standards and respect resident privacy and belongings.

This part-time role reports to the Maintenance Director and requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while communicating with staff to ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize apartments weekly and common areas.
• Remove used linens and manage laundry flow.
• Clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, and maintain floors.
• Report safety concerns and supply shortages to the Maintenance Director.
• Complete daily housekeeping logs and document completed tasks.
