Covenant Living Communities and Services in Northbrook, IL seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to provide campus cleaning and light maintenance. You will follow schedules, handle trash, assist with resident moves, participate in linen programs, and ensure facilities meet cleanliness and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has some high school education, housekeeping or maintenance experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have housekeeping or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Dependable with good common sense; able to organize daily cleaning.
• May require weekend availability.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning in assigned areas following schedule and standards.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks as needed (light bulbs, toilet plunging, batteries).
• Move furniture and assist in resident moves during transfers/discharges.
• Participate in campus linen program and bed making as needed.
• Maintain and report on cleaning equipment; observe for repairs.
• Observe and report facility, furniture, or equipment issues.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills and project cleaning (walls, ceilings, vents, etc.).
• Handle trash/recycling and restock supplies as needed.
