Job summary

The SR Companies in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a dedicated housekeeping and laundry aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary community for residents. Under supervision you will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, room deep-cleaning, bathroom sanitation, carpet care, and dining room assistance as part of a compassionate care team.

You will engage residents kindly, respect privacy, follow hygiene and safety policies, assist nursing staff when needed, and participate in trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow schedules
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing/walking for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Follow established cleaning schedule and perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping in common areas
• Deep clean resident rooms as scheduled
• Clean administrative offices and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean carpets and mop floors per request
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
• Demonstrate empathy and respectful interaction with residents, families and staff
• Respond promptly to residents’ and families’ needs and requests
• Assist nursing staff as needed and participate in trainings
• Assist in dining room during breakfast, lunch and dinner service
• Report safety hazards and follow HIPAA and privacy guidelines
