Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is hiring a Nutrition Services Aide to support the food service department and deliver patient meals. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, stocking and operating the POS system, and assisting with tray assembly and transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service and/or food service experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, serves and portions food ensuring proper temperatures and sizes.
• Delivers patient trays and assists with tray assembly.
• Stock supplies, operate the POS system and assist with transport and clean-up.
• Ensure patient safety using two identifiers and verify nutrition orders.
• Assist with cleaning, ware washing and proper storage of trays.
• Respond to patient meal requests and ensure quality standards.
